Promoting better health with healing foods

Mission Statement:

"My goal is to translate nutrition research findings regarding the healing properties of foods into meal choice recommendations that are delicious, satisfying, and health-promoting. I want to help you eat your way to better health." Extensive scientific research suggests that a diet based on unprocessed plant foods - including whole grains, vegetables, legumes, fruits, nuts, seeds, and herbs - has the power to promote health, defend our body against disease, and enable it to heal when under stress. Certain foods have been shown to be particularly beneficial for specific conditions. I provide advice on which foods might help you with your health concern – whether it's high blood pressure, high cholesterol, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, irritable bowel syndrome, depression, arthritis, immune support, or simply the need for greater energy!
